i am so effing sick of christmas music. actually i've been sick of it since thanksgiving. i think i'll just stick w/normal music for the holidays (might listen to TSO a bit, even though i'll miss their concert again, shoulda looked for tickets last month but probably wouldn't have been able to afford it anyways. oh well, i'll try again next yr)

i am so effing sick of christmas music. actually i've been sick of it since thanksgiving. i think i'll just stick w/normal music for the holidays (might listen to TSO a bit, even though i'll miss their concert again, shoulda looked for tickets last month but probably wouldn't have been able to afford it anyways. oh well, i'll try again next yr) |
Don't listen that much Christmas music until December actually starts. Also, my school has this thing where you start practicing Christmas songs WAY before it's even close to Christmastime. So for me, it's hard to find good Christmas songs to listen to since I already got bored with all that music.
Back to the album: I think it's a decent album. They really should have tried harder, though. The Cheetah Girls overdo it sometimes. I'm not saying they are entirely bad, but it's just that they make it seem as if they're those amazingly great singers. What I'm saying is that they stress their voices too much. I'm not a fan of them, but I'm not hating.
The Jonas Brothers' "Girls of My Dreams" was surprisingly a great song! I first heard it when Tyler played it on one of his podcast episodes.
The same thing that I said for the Cheetah Girls goes for Ashley Tisdale. She does stress her voice a lot. But I enjoy listening to the others songs that she sings.

yeah i agree with that the way they have to turn a way into a Way-ay-ay-ah-ay-ah-ah-ay lol drives me a little crazy miley cyrus sometimes does it but shes not that bad but hilary duff does not, (i preffer her clearly). lol christmas songs are starting to peev me off lol every year the same old crappy songs ha. but Aly & ajs not this year is great, the song is about not being able to pull of another happy face at christmas, but to be honest could pass of as a pop-rock summer hit, as it dosent metion the word christmas and has no christmas vibe to it really, which is what makes it my favourate christmas song.

Hilary Duff doesn't overdo it in any of her songs. That's why she's a great singer. She uses her real voice to sing instead of making it sound different.
Ashley Tisdale is a great singer. I've listened to her songs on her album Headstrong. She's a great singer, but it depends on if she's faking her voice or not.
But when she's playing the role of Sharpay Evans, then it's an exception. I think that voice fits Sharpay, but it definitely doesn't fit Ashley.
Miley's new songs aren't that good. No offense, but I liked her old voice and style better. This might sound weird, but I don't really like her singing because she became more professional with her singing career. Just listen to the old Hannah Montana songs from the first season; compare them with "Fly on the Wall" or "Breakout." Maybe she should stick with just singing the songs that Disney or whoever writes for her.
